         More Than Beautiful recognizes the unique and wonderful differences within each and every woman, individually.  The mission of More Than Beautiful  is to encourage and inspire a woman to seek and find her true beauty, not merely an imitation of someone else.  To accept who she is.  To embrace and enhance those features, qualities and talents that only she owns!  To be able to capture that essence every day in a grateful and positive way — honoring her mind, her body, her heart.  Once she has grounded herself from within, enhanced her best beauty without, she is then free from comparison, self-measuring, and guilt.  She extends beyond herself in thought and deed.  She knows that simply doing good and being good is good enough.  Her life may be filled with mundane tasks and routines, but she  knows her life has purpose, even if she lives without recognition.  She knows that even her smallest efforts can make the biggest difference.  She recognizes that who she is now is the result of all she has been through in her life — experiences, challenges, obstacles, joys, sorrows, pains and trials.   She knows that where she is in her life and who she has become is much more important than how she got there.  Everything about her embodies her vision and her motivation to make her world a better place, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant her world appears to be.  She is joyous, strong, inspiring, courageous, honorable, honest, capable, giving, loving, kind.  She lifts and teaches by her example.  Her motivation for everything she thinks and does is not for self-aggrandizement, but for love — love of others, and love of herself.

             She embraces who she is and her life.  She loves deeply.  She is filled with Heaven’s light and brightness.  In her deepest heart of hearts, she knows that she is never really alone.  She knows that God really does know her and loves her.  This knowledge gives her strength and sustenance no matter how difficult her personal circumstances are, have been, or might become.

             More Than Beautiful issues a clarion call to all women and men everywhere to align themselves in support of the women in our lives — mothers, grandmothers, sisters, daughters, grand-daughters,  aunts, nieces, friends, neighbors, co-workers and associates.  Celebrate them.  Compliment them.  Encourage them.  Put your arm around them and thank them for who they are and for what they do.  And if someone you know and love doesn’t recognize or embrace her beauty and personal purpose, encourage her to seek and to find who she really is.  Help her celebrate her individuality.  Let her know that God knows her and loves her for who she is!

             The world really can become a more beautiful place, one individual at a time.  It can start here.  It can start now.  It can start with one person…you!  If a woman really wants to be beautiful, it begins by being More Than Beautiful!
